Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event is just over a week away now. The main attraction would be the Galaxy S23 series but that does not mean it will be the only announcement. There are rumors suggesting Samsung will also take wraps off the new Galaxy Book 3 series. The leak is coming from MySmartPrice, an Indian online publication, detailing models and specifications.
The Galaxy Book 3 lineup is said to include five models: Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. It will be a global release which means these notebooks will be sold across the world at almost the same time. These will be available across different sizes, form factors, and price points.
There will be a 15-inch display available with both Galaxy Book 3 and Galaxy Book 3 360. The Pro variant is tipped to be available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. The Galaxy 3 Pro 360 and Ultra are said to come in a single 16-inch display size. The Pro 360 will have an AMOLED panel with a 3K resolution. The choice of processor will be between 13th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 along with Iris Xe graphics. There will be up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe SSD PCIe Gen 4 storage. Other features include a 76Whr battery, 65W fast charging, AKG quad-speakers, Dolby Atmos, S Pen, and Windows 11 Home.
As for the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, it will be the most expensive and feature-rich model in the lineup. There will be a 16-inch AMOLED display with a 3K resolution. Under the hood, it will come with the 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD PCIe Gen 4 storage. The GPU choice is said to be NVIDIA RTX4070 GDDR6 with 8GB virtual memory.
The battery capacity is reportedly 76Whr and a 136W charging adaptor will come bundled. It will also have AKG quad speakers with Dolby Atmos audio and the notebook will boot Windows 11 Home. The report does not mention pricing details for any of the Galaxy Book 3 models.
