Lenovo has officially debuted two new notebooks at this year's MWC in Barcelona. These are IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook and IdeaPad Duet 3i. Both these products are aimed at a particular user base and have features accordingly.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook
The IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is an affordable option for anyone interested in a Chromebook which is not only slim but also lightweight. It measures only 0.73-inch thickness and weighs just about 2.9 pounds. It sports a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with a brightness of 300 nits. Under the hood, Lenovo has opted for the MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor with 4GB and 8GB of RAM.
Its storage options are 64GB and 128GB but there is microSD card support. The connectivity options are USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port. The Chromebook is claimed to last for up to 13.5 hours on a single charge. Other noteworthy features are WiFi 6E, a 1080p webcam with a privacy shutter, Waves MaxxAudio, and a dedicated mute button.
Lenovo has priced the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook at $340 with sales beginning in May 2023. It will be available in Cloud Gray and Abyss Blue color options.
Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i
The IdeaPad Duet 3i is Lenovo's newest offering in the 2-in-1 convertible space. Like other devices in the market, it is meant to provide users with portability and freedom of different form factors on the go. The device has an 11.5-inch 2K touchscreen display with 400 nits of brightness and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The notebook is powered by the Intel N200 processor along with integrated graphics. Its configuration options are 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 5-megapixel front camera with fixed focus. There are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, an audio jack, Bluetooth 5.2, and WiFi 6. The battery life is claimed to be about 8.5 hours on a single full charge.
On the software front, there is a choice between Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Home. Lenovo's newest IdeaPad Duet 3i will cost EUR 449 with sales beginning in June 2023.
