28 April 2019 4

The moment is finally here for which we were all waiting for and that is the launch of the gaming smartphone from Nubia offering hardware specifications that we generally don’t get to see that often in a smartphone. While there are a bunch of companies making smartphones aimed towards the gaming community, Nubia has made a major impact with the newly announced Nubia Red Magic 3.

The phone offers a 6.65-inch display with full HD+ ultra-widescreen display with a stunning refresh rate of 90Hz that supports HDR content. Apart from that, it boasts stereo speakers throwing audio towards the user via its front-facing speakers, offering cinematic soundscape backed by 3D sound technologies and DTS:X support.

Talking of the uniqueness in design, the phone packs an RGB light on the rear side of the phone that is customizable offering over 16.8 million colors. While the third variant comes in with 12GB RAM with 256GB RAM.

Interestingly, the cooling system on Nubia Red Magic 3 is one of the highlights of the phone offering state of the art liquid cooling technology that also boasts an internal turbofan. The company shared how this setup offers 500 percent faster heat dissipation thus improving performance, though this needs to be tested now that the device is finally announced officially.

The phone comes with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with little UI changes over the top just like other OEMs do though these are quite subtle in the case of Red Magic 3. Talking about the camera department, the phone offers a 48MP rear-facing the camera while another 16MP camera The phone would be released in China on 3rd May, to begin with, while in the US, Canada, UK, and EU would follow, though the exact date isn’t known yet.
