OnePlus is bringing a new software update to its smartphone cameras that add on new mode-switching options that could be accessed by swiping up on the camera screen. In addition to this, doubling tapping the power button quickly takes the photo which comes in quite handy when you need to grab a moment and do not have enough time to go through options from the software menus.

This update targets Android Oreo devices only in case you are wondering. The new camera app version is 2.4.17 which isn’t a huge update though brings minor UI updates too. Earlier the mode switching menu was accessed via the hamburger menu while the new UI update a user only needs to do a simple swipe up on the camera screen which is quite convenient as compare to earlier implementation.
