Update for Oppo Reno brings gesture support for improved navigation

Fast-rising Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO recently unveiled its new flagship device in the shape of Oppo Reno, which has been put up against few of the best smartphones out there in the market like Huawei P30 Pro and more. The company has recently now brought an update to ColorOS 6 offering a very useful feature.

The update brings gesture support like swiping on the display to perform a navigation action. In case the user swipe from the left or right side of the display towards the inside. Likewise, swiping from the bottom of the display to halfway through the screen, it brings forward the recent apps.

Updated with version number PCCM00-11-A.16, the gestures offers an alternative way to navigate through the OS in addition to the soft buttons. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0. The base Android 9.0 does bring some gesture control along with it, though the OEM specific UI layer upon does offer additional gestures.
