Oppo is reportedly planning to enter the tablet market. This is not a surprising move considering it is very common for smartphone makers to start manufacturing tablets. The leak is coming from the Digital Chat Station account available on Weibo. This particular tablet is said to be packed with premium features.
The first-ever Oppo Android tablet is said to have a big display panel. The tipster has compared it with the Huawei MatePad 12.6 tablet that comes with a 12.6-inch display. It should be noted that there is no confirmation if Oppo's tablet will have the same display size but we can speculate it to be at least 10-inches.
The tablet is further said to run a new ColorOS software version. This new software experience is said to include new visual changes. There will be various desktop widgets and a persistent dock like we see on Apple's iPadOS. This dock is meant for quickly accessing apps that you use frequently.
As of now, the leak does not mention when we can expect to see the Oppo tablet become available in the market. The pricing details are also missing for the time being. We should be hearing more details about the tablet in the near future but for now, this is everything that we know.
