Oppo has launched its second Android tablet named Oppo Pad Air in China. The announcement came alongside the Reno 8 smartphone series that has also gone official in the country. The new tablet will join the Oppo Pad which is currently only three months old on the market.
The Oppo Pad Air sports a 10.36-inch LTPO display with 2000 x 1200 pixels resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The panel will offer 225ppi pixel density and 360 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. There are 64GB and 128GB onboard storage options which result in a total of three configuration variants.
The back panel has an 8-megapixel single camera with f/2.0 aperture. The tablet has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and attending video calls. The whole package is powered by a 7,110mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The tablet will boot ColorOS based on Android 12 out of the box.
Oppo has priced the Oppo Pad Air at CNY 1,299 (about $195) for the 4GB/64GB base model. There are two more variants 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB which will cost you CNY 1,499 (about $225) and CNY 1,699 (about $255) respectively. The company has a bundle featuring a stylus pen and a keyboard that can be grabbed by paying CNY 648 extra. The tablet is currently available only in China.
