Razer unveiled a new concept of Android Laptop/Phone Hybrid named Linda at CES 2018, that combines the mobility of smartphones with the versatility of a laptop. It is about to come to life as the company is planning to soon launch the Razer Phone 2, that powers Linda.
Linda laptop packs a unibody CNC aluminum chassis with 15mm overall thickness and 1.2Kg of overall weight(including the phone). A 13.3-inch Quad HD touchscreen display is the highlight feature of the concept. Linda also sports a 200GB internal storage space that acts a backup storage for the Razer Smartphone. Apart from that, it packs 3.5-millimeter audio jack, a USB-A port, a USB-C charging port, 720p webcam, and a dual-array microphone. Linda is powered by a 53.6 Wh battery.
Razer Phone 2 is the key part of Linda as it acts both as the brain and trackpad. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM. It can be docked into the Linda Laptop at the place where a touchpad resides. As per the report, Razer Phone 2 will be officially released in September 2018.
