Realme Pad with 10.4-inch display, Android 11 launches in India

09 September 2021 0

Realme has officially introduced its first-ever Android tablet Realme Pad in India. It boasts a big display and battery while being "ultra-slim" at the same time. The tablet measures only 6.9mm in thickness which makes it one of the slimmest tablets out there. It is available in different configurations and also packs features dedicated to media consumption.

The Realme Pad sports a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ (2000 x 1200 pixels) IPS LCD "Immersive Display" with 82.5% screen-to-body ratio. It supports Reading Mode, Night Mode, and Sunlight Mode which essentially adjust the display brightness depending on the requirement. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G80 processor coupled with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. The onboard storage options include 32GB and 64GB along with microSD card support.

The tablet features an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera sensor on the front as well as the back. It has Dolby Atmos quad-speakers, each corner featuring one so that you get good enough audio output regardless of how you are holding it. The whole package is powered by a 7,100mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It will boot Realme UI for Pad based on Android 11 out of the box.

Realme Pad Pricing and Availability
  • 3GB/32GB with WiFi for INR 13,999 (about $190)
  • 3GB/32GB with 4G LTE for INR 15,999 (about $218)
  • 4GB/64GB with 4G LTE for INR 17,999 (about $245)

The Realme Pad will go on its first sale on September 16th via Flipkart, Realme's website, and offline stores. It should be noted that the base model will not be available for purchase immediately. Realme has simply said that it is "coming soon". As for the color options, these include Real Grey and Real Gold.
