We are almost a month away from another tech festival called IFA 2018 scheduled to be held in Berlin like every year. There will be many well-known brands at the event including Sony which is expected to take the opportunity to announce its next flagship Xperia XZ3. The upcoming smartphone has already been a part of various leaks but this time around, its design has been revealed in its biggest leak yet.
This new leak has been shared by an online publication CompareRaja in collaboration with usually reliable tipster @OnLeaks. It comprises of a bunch of CAD renders and a 360-degree video showing the Xperia XZ3 design from all possible angles. The most interesting part of this new leak is that it shows only a single rear camera, unlike all previous reports and rumors which claimed a dual camera setup.
It is hard to say which of the two claims is actually true but it would make sense for the Xperia XZ3 to feature only one sensor on the back if Sony has plans of releasing a "Premium" variant as well. It can go for the dual camera setup with the Xperia XZ3 Premium to offer more and better while also justifying the naming system.
Other than this change, all other things shown in these Xperia XZ3 renders are quite in line with previous leaks. On the front, it is shown with a bezel-less display design and 18:9 aspect ratio. There is Sony branding on the chin with both top and bottom bezels being relatively bigger than side bezels. On the back, you can see the LED flash at the top followed by the single rear shooter and a fingerprint scanner. The renders also show Xperia branding towards the bottom on the back panel.
As far as technical specifications are concerned, not much is known about the Xperia XZ3. The commonly reported rumors include Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB storage. It is said to offer 3240mAh battery and a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.
