Vivo X23 new leak suggests 3D Facial recognition and better in-glass fingerprint scanner

As per latest info, Vivo is getting ready to announce a new mid-range smartphone X23. The company's Voice-Assistant not only confirmed its existence but also reveals the device will be announced on August 20. It's quite surprising because we haven't heard many details regarding the Vivo X23 so far.

Today a tipster from China reveals few key details regarding the X23. The tipster confirms the X23 is featuring a 6.4-inches display with a notch at the top of the display, like most of the latest smartphones it will have 3D facial recognition as a secondary security feature.

From the look of the things, the X23 will be first Vivo smartphone with waterdrop notch like the recently announced Oppo F9. The primary security feature will remain in-glass fingerprint scanner, however, it will be improved from the first gen.

The Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 670 SoC is powering the device. To enhance the audio performance, the device will have dedicated audio DAC on board. We also heard rumors that X23 could be the first smartphone on the market with 10GB RAM. We can expect more details regarding the Vivo X23 in coming days, Stay tuned.
