From the look of the things, it seems like the Vivo is working on a new variant of NEX A with an under-glass fingerprint scanner. The info is deduced from a Vivo device recent certification at the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
As per listing the device model is Vivo Nex UD A which clearly hints this variant has under glass scanner. Most likely this variant other specs will remain same, the only difference will be an in-glass fingerprint scanner.
Apart from this device four Vivo, branded smartphones receive certification at the Russian Eurasian Economic commision. The devices are Vivo 1807, 1811 and 1812. Unfortunately, the listing didn't reveal any detail regarding the hardware specs or design.
Although the Vivo Nex A doesn't have the top of the line hardware like the Nex S still it is amongst the best upper mid-rangers in the market. The Nex A features a 6.59-inches Super AMOLED display panel. The Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 710 SoC is powering the device with 6GB RAM. The dual rear cameras are 12MP+5MP. Up front the pop-up selfie snapper is 8MP. A 4,000mAh battery cell is on board to keep its lights on.
