Xiaomi "M19" phones spotted on 3C and TENAA; could be Redmi 7 series

17 December 2018 3

It is a new day and a new Xiaomi-related leak coming out from the rumor mill. It seems like Xiaomi has started work for the next year as three smartphones bearing the new "M19" series model numbers. The three phones have been spotted on the 3C certification website and one of them has also been seen on TENAA website.

Starting with the 3C listings, the three Xiaomi phones are shown with the model numbers M1901F7E, M1901F7T, and M1901F7C which are a part of a newer series. As noted by Nashville Chatter, all of the Xiaomi smartphones for the year were launched with "M18" model number series. This is the reason it is fair to speculate that the "M19" series smartphones are meant for next year's release.

The listing does not reveal anything substantial except that there will be support for 5V/2A fast charging. It is expected that these are entry-level smartphones which have given birth to speculations that this could be the Redmi 7 series. If true, these are likely to be the Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro respectively.

Other than this, the Xiaomi M1901F9T smartphone has been spotted on the TENAA website revealing the design and specifications. It is shown with the waterdrop-styled notched display which we have started to see in more and more phones. It is listed to be a 5.84-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.

It is shown with a dual rear camera setup placed on the top left corner followed by the LED corner. There is a fingerprint scanner in the center of the back panel. The bottom part has the Mi branding which is expected on any Xiaomi smartphone.

While this is pretty much what we know about these new Xiaomi smartphones so far, we can definitely expect more details in the coming days. We will keep you updated as more details will emerge online.
