The Chinese giant smartphones manufacturer Oppo recently confirmed a new Reno lineup of smartphones. Under the new branding, the company will be unveiling a new smartphone on April 10th. However soon after the Oppo's confirmation, the rumors mill start producing new details regarding the upcoming phones.
Today the Oppo's upcoming phone bearing model CPH1917 appears at Bluetooth SIG and Singapore's IMDA. The device appearance at both certifications confirm a few key hardware details regarding the device. The IMDA certification confirms the aforementioned phone will be unveiled under Reno branding. As expected the IMDA listing didn't reveal any details regarding hardware specs.
The Bluetooth SIG appearance clears many doubts regarding the upcoming Reno phone. According to SIG listing, the Reno will be featuring a 6.4-inches display with Full HD+ certification. The Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC will be powering the phone.
The rear side has dual cameras of 48MP+5MP. Up front the selfie snapper is 16MP. As OS the device is pre-installed with ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie. For connectivity, the device comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11ac. Other hardware details regarding the phone are still in the dark.
A few days ago Oppo's VPP Shen Yiren confirmed the arrival of new flagship phone with Snapdragon 855 chipset and 10x hybrid zoom. Later on, a mysterious Oppo phone appeared at AnTuTu with the top of the line hardware and scored 356,246 points. At the moment it is still in the dark whether the aforementioned phone and Snapdragon 855 driven phone are same or not?
The company could release the aforementioned phone as a toned down model of Snapdragon 855 driven phone. As the launch is less than a month away, we can expect more details will appear online in the coming days. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
