OnePlus 7 Pro leaked images suggest curved 6.67-inch display, 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 855 SoC

10 April 2019 3

OnePlus is amongst the few OEMs who already shown intentions to launch the 5G phone this year. Back at this year MWC show, the company confirmed the arrival of the 5G phone but the exact release was in the dark. It was confirmed the 5G model will be running on the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset. The X50 modem will be taking care of 5G connectivity. Today couple of alleged OnePlus 5G phone images leaked online on Weibo which gives a glimpse regarding what to expect in terms of design and specs.

Following the latest trend, the OnePlus 7 5G model comes with the dual curved display. The front-facing side has minimal bezels which means you will be getting pop-up selfie snapper. The tipster dubbed the phone as OnePlus 7 Pro and it bears model number GM1915. The device is featuring a Super Optic display of 6.67-inches. Under the hood the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC is powering the phone with 8GB RAM and built-in native storage is 256GB. The rear side has triple camera sensors including 48MP, 16MP, and 8MP.

As OS the device is running on the build number 9.5.1 GM31CB based on the Android Pie. Surprisingly the about section showcases the OnePlus 6T instead of the latest phone. That's why we will recommend taking this info with a pinch of salt. Recently a OnePlus phone bearing model number GM1915 appears at Bluetooth certification.

Another important aspect is OnePlus 7 Pro model number doesn't start with "A" which means OnePlus is going to start the 5G model as a new lineup. Feel free to share your thoughts regarding the OnePlus 7 Pro alleged images in the comments section below. Stay tuned.

With the advancement in the competition, it's getting harder to term OnePlus as a real "flagship killer", though the way they are building a high-end flagship is applaudable.
