Huawei's sub-brand Honor seems to be planning to announce a new entry-level smartphone named Honor 8S. A new report has emerged from online publication WinFuture.de revealing all the specifications. It also includes image renders showing the design of the phone and what to expect.
The Honor 8S is reported to sport a 5.71-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it is said to feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There will be a Western Europe variant of the phone with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage space. The support for microSD cards is available on both variants.
The camera department includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. There are no words on the aperture size or any other details but considering it is an entry-level phone, one should not expect too much from the phone. The whole package is powered by a 3,020mAh battery. It will be running EMUI 9 based on Android Pie out of the box.
There are no words on the Honor 8S pricing and availability yet. We will be keeping you in the loop as and when information will become available.
