The Redmi Y3 rumors are gaining momentum and with each passing day, we have something new and exciting regarding the upcoming Redmi phone. Thanks to a continuous streak of rumors and leaks we are well aware regarding what to expect from Redmi Y3 in terms of specs and design. The official teasers confirm 32MP selfie snapper, gradient finish, dual snappers on the rear. The company recently confirmed the launch event on April 24. Today the Redmi Y3 Geekbench listing appeared online which reconfirms few key hardware specs.
Under the hood, the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 chipset is powering the phone with 3GB RAM. It's quite unfortunate to see Redmi still relying on the two years old mid-range chipset when its two successors are available in the market. The reason behind older chipset could be affordable pricing of Redmi Y3. As per the listing, the device is pre-installed with Android Pie based MIUI 10.
On single-core test, the device achieved 1236 points whereas on the multi-core test the device achieved 4213 points. These results indicate the Redmi Y3 will be almost similar to Redmi 7 in terms of performance. The Redmi 3 lights are kept on by a 4,000mAh battery cell.
