We are less than 20 days away from the much-awaited OnePlus 7 launch event. It is the event where OnePlus will be announcing two flagships at the same time for the first time. It is speculated to announce the standard OnePlus 7 and a much more powerful OnePlus 7 Pro. If you are wondering what exactly is the difference between the two, here is a new leak detailing complete specifications for both of them.
The leak is coming from well-known tech writer Max J from SamsungMobile.News and AllAboutSamsung. As per him, the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and three configuration variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. OnePlus is said to make use of UFS 3.0 storage.
It will have a triple rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel shooter (f/1.6 aperture), an 8-megapixel shooter with 3x zoom (f/2.4 aperture), and a 16-megapixel shooter with 117-degree field of view (f/2.2 aperture). On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge fast charging. It will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and will be released in Blue, Grey, and Brown color variants. There will also be a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G which is exactly the same except for an additional 5G connectivity support.
As for OnePlus 7, it seems like nothing but a toned down version of the Pro variant. It will sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display. It will also have Snapdragon 855 chipset but two configuration options: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. There will be a 48-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) and 5-megapixel depth sensor dual rear camera setup. It should also be having the in-display fingerprint scanner but the leak does not mention it.
Considering the leak, it goes without saying that the OnePlus 7 Pro will be the device with all the power and best features that OnePlus is capable of and is ready to push out to the market. It means we should also be seeing a significant price bump this time around but the standard OnePlus 7 should be relatively cheaper.
