Realme theme song confirms upcoming phone with Pop-up selfie snapper

29 April 2019 2

A few days ago a couple of Realme phones bearing model number RMX1851 and RMX1901 appeared at the TENAA certification. The TENAA listing confirms the company is working on a couple of new phones for the Chinese market. Unfortunately, the listing only confirms the display, dimensions, and battery size. Considering the model number it was evident the RMX1851 will be Realme 3 Pro. The Realme 3 Pro was recently announced for the Indian market.

The RMX1901 details are still in the dark. Today Realme releases a new theme song on official Weibo account. The theme song video showcases a new Realme phone with pop-up selfie snapper. The device is actually the RMX1901 we had seen on the TENAA listing.

The video showcases the device has the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack at the top edge. Following the latest trend, it comes with a full front-facing display. The TENAA listing confirms the device has 6.5-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution.

The pop-up selfie snapper is in the center of the top bezel. Although the video showcased the rear design glimpse the camera's position remained a mystery. The TENAA listing suggests it won't have rear fingerprint scanner instead it could have an under-glass optical fingerprint scanner. The device dimensions are 161.2 x 76. x 9.4mm. A 3,680mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on.

At the moment it is still in the dark when Realme will officially announce the two new Realme phones for the Chinese market. However, we can expect more details will appear in the coming days. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
