20 May 2019 3

From the look of the things, the Xiaomi spun off brand Redmi is gearing to announce another mid-range phone of Redmi 7 series. The device bearing model number M1903C3EE and M1903C3EC appear at TENAA. The device is expected to go official as Redmi 7A.

As per the listing, the Redmi 7A measurements are 146.30 x 70.41 x 9.55 mm and weighs 150g. It comes with dual dedicated slots for SIM cards. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie based MIUI skin over it.

The Redmi 7A is featuring a 5.45-inches display with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 2:1. An octa-core chipset with max clocking at 1.4Ghz is powering the phone. Most likely the Snapdragon 435 SoC is powering it.

The device will be available in three configurations. The entry-level variant has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The base model has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The top-tier model has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It supports memory expansion via MicroSD up to 256GB.

Being the budget-friendly phone it comes with single snapper on the rear and front facing side. The primary snapper on the rear is 13MP with LED flashlight. Up front the selfie snapper is 5MP. It lacks the fingerprint scanner. A 3,900mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. For connectivity, it comes with Micro-USB and retains the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. It will be available in eight colors including Gray, White, Blue, Black, Purple, Red, Pink, and Green. Considering the device already cleared TENAA certification, the official announcement seems closer.
