Xiaomi's Mi MIX lineup is all set to enter its fourth generation with a smartphone likely to be called Mi MIX 4. There have not been many leaks or reports about the smartphone before today but now, a MyDrivers report citing a tipster from China has surfaced. It details all the crucial Mi MIX 4 specifications including a leaked render.
The Mi MIX 4 is reported to sport a curved display of unknown size but with 2K resolution. Under the hood, it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. If true, these will surely be a configuration for the top-end model but as for base variant, details have not been shared yet.
There is said to be a quad rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel sensor headlining the show. The other three sensors are tipped to be a 16-megapixel super wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel lens, and a periscopic lens. It is in line with a recent Xiaomi announcement that it will release the world's first 108-megapixel camera smartphone. This particular sensor is currently the biggest smartphone camera sensor and is from Samsung. It is claimed to be capable of shooting up to 6K videos.
The report does not offer any information about the front camera. The Mi MIX 3 was launched with a pop-up dual selfie camera setup but it hard to say if Xiaomi will continue with the same approach or change it. The whole package will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging. A recent leak also suggested support for reverse wireless charging. On the software front, it will run MIUI 11 which could be based on Android Q. It will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC connectivity, and ceramic build.
All these Mi MIX 4 specs do appear impressive and tempting but since there is no proof to back the leak yet, we would suggest you take these with a pinch of salt. We will share more details as anything new will surface online.
