OnePlus is rumored to be working on its new "T" series smartphones that will be called OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. These will be incremental upgrades over currently available OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. One of the changes is said to be in the camera design of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T as the latter is claimed to feature a circular camera module. There is a new leak coming from Gizmochina that corroborates the same claim.
The leak comprises of alleged OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro cases showing camera designs of both phones. The OnePlus 7T Karbon case shows a circular cutout in the top half which is meant for the rear camera. This is same as what we saw in the renders shared by @OnLeaks i.e. a circular placement for the three camera sensors. This circular camera module will also be housing the LED flash. The case also has OnePlus branding just below the cutout.
As for the OnePlus 7T Pro, the leaked cases are of Karbon and Nylon materials with camera cut-out similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro. It means it is still vertically aligned with LED flash within the module. The slight difference is that there is an extra cut on the left side suggesting that the upcoming flagship will have a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. This will be in addition to the usual triple camera setup.
The OnePlus 7T lineup is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor which is the newest flagship processor. There will be 2K Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate which is currently available only on the OnePlus 7 Pro. These are said to get official on September 26th which is two weeks away from today.
