Realme has made a good name for itself in the budget and mid-range smartphone segments and now, it is preparing to venture into the premium segment. The Realme X2 Pro is set to be the first Android flagship from the brand and to make sure that there is enough buzz about the same, it has been revealing and teasing different features on social media.
Wang Wei Derek, Product Director at Realme China, has shared a few Realme X2 Pro camera samples on Chinese social network Weibo. These samples seem to be aimed at showing the wide-angle shots as well as the dynamic range of the upcoming phone but since these images are not of the original resolution, we would reserve our judgment for later. At the bottom left corner, one can see the "64MP AI Quad Camera, Shot on Realme X2 Pro" watermark suggesting that it will have the same camera setup as the Realme XT and Realme X2.
The official Realme X2 Pro teaser page on the Realme Europe website also reveals some of the features. Realme claims that this new phone will be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus-powered smartphone in its price segment. Similarly, it will be the first smartphone with a 90Hz display, 64-megapixel quad cameras, and 20x zoom in the price range. The team is further touting it as the smartphone with the fastest charging speed in Europe. It is expected to feature 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge.
Lastly, a new leak coming from China claims that the Realme X2 Pro will be launched on October 15th. It means we are only one week away from the unveiling and if that is true, it should not take long for Realme to make a formal announcement through official channels. Nevertheless, we will keep you in the loop.
