OnePlus’ upcoming smartphone launching in 2020 has started grabbing eyeballs, thanks to some early rumors and speculations that have revealed some gems about it. We have already seen some renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro, courtesy of @OnLeaks and a few key details as well like the wireless charging tech, but that may not be enough.
A new feature tipped about the OnePlus 8 Pro states that the device could include 120Hz display, which means it will be even better than the OnePlus 7 Pro’s 90Hz refresh rate. A higher refresh rate promises smoother navigation. Seeing the excellent performance of OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T, we can assume what the 120Hz could bring along.
The tip comes from Max J., who mainly tips things about upcoming Samsung phones, so it was first believed that the Galaxy S11 will feature the 120Hz display. Turned out it is the OnePlus phone and it could be the Pro model of the OnePlus 8 since it is a premium feature. If the tip is to be believed, OnePlus 8 Pro could become the company’s first phone to sport a 120Hz display but not the first to make it to the market. For comparison, Asus ROG Phone 2 already comes with a 120Hz display for the better gaming experience.
No other details accompany this big tip but there are some rumors already that tell what the device will bring with itself.
Together with the alleged renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro, it was rumored that OnePlus could finally adopt the wireless charging tech support for its device. Renders also revealed the OnePlus 8 Pro could come with quad rear cameras, each having a different function to operate. It has a punch-hole display, which is also a new thing to welcome. The device could come powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage options.
Stay tuned for more interesting information.
