Redmi will launch the Redmi K30 smartphone on December 10 in China but its Pro variant is not coming this early. According to the latest tip from the known tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the K30 Pro is coming in March 2020 in China. The exact launch details are unknown but we do have a couple of rumored specifications of the same.
According to what has been suspected, the Redmi K30 Pro will come with Snapdragon 865 processor with Snapdragon X55 5G modem. According to a recent post by Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing, the Redmi K30 series will have SA/NSA dual-mode 5G support. He didn’t mention the K30 Pro specifically, but given that he referred to the “series,” we believe the support is also coming for the K30 Pro.
The K30 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC which integrates a Snapdragon X52 5G modem. Not many details are known when it comes to the Pro variant of the Redmi K30 and we believe, the familiarity will begin to happen when the Redmi K30 goes official on December 10.
Currently all eyes or on the standard variant which is launching this week only. So, it is fair to assume that if the launch of K30 Pro is far from now then we will get to know about it in the coming weeks only.
The same tipster has referred to the TENAA certification of the Redmi K30 and shared the details.
Below is what has been obtained through TENAA document -
- 6.67-inch display with 2400 × 1080 res
- Snapdragon 730/735G clocked @ 2.2GHz

Also, according to allegedly leaked real-life images, the device has a 120Hz refresh rate, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a Sony IMX686 image sensor. So, if the standard variant is coming with some high-end features, we expect them to see them in the Pro variant as well. Rest, wait for the next year to begin and look for more details of the Redmi K30 Pro.
