Realme is currently busy preparing for the Realme X50 launch, its first-ever 5G smartphone that will be announced on January 7th in China. It has already teased a few features of the smartphone but thanks to a new leak, all of the detailed Realme X50 specifications have surfaced online. The same leak also reveals all the configuration options along with their pricing details.
As per the leak, the Realme X50 5G will sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor with Adreno 620 GPU. There will be three configuration variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It is said to offer Dual Channel UFS 2.1 internal storage and LPDDR4X RAM.
There will be a quad-camera setup on the rear panel including a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor. The other three cameras include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 13-megapixel sensor with 5X zoom, and a 2-megapixel super macro sensor. The front camera setup will be a 32-megapixel Samsung GD1 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
It will feature a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support to keep the lights on. Other noteworthy leaked features are side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is said to be made up of polycarbonate with metallic frames and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as the back panel.
The Realme X50 5G is reported to cost CNY 2,199 (about $315) for 6GB/128GB variant, CNY 2,499 (about $360) for 8GB/128GB variant, and CNY 2,799 (about $400) for 8GB/256GB variant. The leak does not offer any details about the global availability of the smartphone but we can expect to get some information during the official launch.
