Smartphone manufacturers are venturing into several other segments to diversify their portfolio and offer more and more tech products to their users. Home automation products are some of the first products of their decision, followed by consumer electronics or vice versa. Speaking of the latter, one of the trendiest products today that is selling like hot cakes is the smart TV.

Analyzing the deflection of the market, many manufacturers are entering now and introducing what they are building. Mainly the Chinese manufacturers are debuting their category, and OnePlus and Huawei are the two very latest examples to start with.

Now, a rumor in the air claims that Oppo is also set to launch its first smart TV and it could be launched as Oppo TV.

Recently, Oppo held a conference by the theme “Integrating the ecological and intelligent future,” hinting that the company may be planning to expand itself to accommodate the technologies and its applications of future. While there is no direct mention of a smart TV here, it is believed that Oppo could start with the much-anticipated TV. Furthermore, “Ecological integration” here reflects company is planning to launch some more smart devices and what could be a better start than a smart TV.

The current market situation, especially in India where Oppo stays as one of the top companies, is in high demand. Xiaomi is easily grabbing a big share of this market by launching the affordable products against some big brands. And, while the competition is on the rise, there is still a possibility of penetrating the market with the right products.

Currently, we can’t solidify our belief due to scantier information but we look forward to hearing more about the same.
