As we have entered the official Oppo Find X2 launch timeline i.e. Q1 2020, it is expected that rumor mill will start to churn out details of the phone. It has not disappointed us as the first Find X2 leak has emerged that reveals that will be a premium device with high-end specifications and features.
The Oppo Find X2 is reported to sport a 6.5-inch Quad HD+ (3168 x 1440 pixels) OLED curved display. The curved display panel is said to have been supplied by Samsung Display. It will further have 120Hz refresh rate support which has become the latest trend among premium flagship smartphones. Even though the report does not mention it specifically, we are expecting Oppo to provide an option to adjust the refresh rate.
The choice of processor is said to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 that comes within an integrated 5G modem. It means the Find X2 is very much likely to be the second Oppo 5G smartphone after the launch of Reno 3 5G last year. The major difference is that the Reno 3 5G is an upper mid-range device and upcoming Find X2 will be a proper Android flagship.
Oppo is well-known to focus on camera performance of its smartphones. It has already confirmed that the Find X2 will come with a new Sony camera sensor without going into any further details. We will share more information about the camera and other specs of the smartphone as and when they will surface online.
