Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) renders pop up

05 December 2017 3

A month ago, we could confirm that Samsung was working on the improved version of the Galaxy J2 Pro of yesteryear after the latest version of the device was spotted on FCC and Bluetooth SIG. Though we could only get a glimpse of the specifications inside the J2 Pro(2018), the latest renders which seem to be the only ones out there takes us through the design aspects of the budget-minded smartphone.

The 5-inch Super AMOLED display will be housed on top of the fingerprint scanner which is still at the front of the device. Fortunately, there’s still a headphone jack at the top of the Galaxy J2 Pro which is powered by a 1.5 GHz Spreadtrum SC8830 quad-core processor.

The Galaxy J2 Pro is available in Sky Blue and Gray colors at the back which also home to the 8MP primary camera with LED flash. An earlier FCC listing revealed that the device will be shipped with a removable 2,600mAh battery which explains the thickness of the J2 Pro. From what we can see, the volume rockers are on the left side of the display with the power button on the right side. We aren’t quite sure if the device makes use of a USB-C port, though if it were true, it’ll be a certain boost.

Samsung is yet to confirm the development of the Galaxy J2 Pro or maybe they won’t until the time the device gets released. But with the kind of renders and the spotting at the FCC, we won’t say we’re far away from a release of Samsung’s upcoming entry-level smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
