Samsung has trademarked a new logo for its enterprise mobile security solution having registered the same to the European Union Intellectual Property Office. With the new logo, we’re not quite sure as to what Samsung is planning for.
Though it could simply be just a redesigned logo on the boxes and software of its business-oriented devices protected with KNOX, there’s also a chance that the South Korean giant is looking forward to releasing an all-new KNOX service. If it turns out to be a reality, Samsung will replace the MyKnox application which it ended support for earlier this year.
The MyKnox was caught in a vulnerability scam as an Israeli research team went out to find flaws that gave hackers full access to a Samsung device. This resulted in the company warning its users to prevent the app from wiping data from their devices as it went on to replace the same with the Secure Folder app.
