Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 & S6 Edge+ now receiving March security update

25 March 2018 2

Verizon is now seeding a new software update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. The new update, although doesn’t bring Android Oreo, adds the latest March security patch to the two devices.

Both the phablets are now receiving March 1 security update from Google. The build number for the Galaxy Note 5 is NRD90M.N920VVRS3CRC1 and for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is NRD90M.G928VVRS3CRC1. The update is rolled out over-the-air, which means it might take some time to reach your device. Alternatively, you can check for the update by heading over to ‘System Update’ in the settings.
