From last few months, we had been hearing rumors that the South Korean giant Samsung is getting ready to the next-gen Gear smartwatch with the Google's WearOS. Today the well-known tipster Ice Universe reveals few key details regarding the next smartwatch from Samsung including its branding and other key details.
Back in May, we heard that the South Korean giant is planning to shift from Tizen to Google's Wear OS for the upcoming smartwatch. Recently the popular tipster Evan Blass claimed that Samsung is internally testing Gear devices running on Wear OS, Later on, he added that Google setup the devices for Samsung employees.

As per latest tip from Ice Universe, the Galaxy Gear S4 will have Android Wear OS straight out of the box. He also revealed that the next-gen smartwatch from Samsung will be named "Galaxy Watch". It's certainly not surprising at all because Samsung is using the Galaxy branding for a number of products running on Android OS including Tabs, Smartphones, and many other products.
The tweet further revealed the Galaxy watch will be powered up by a 470mAh battery cell. The company will be using PLP package for the chipset manufacturing which will allow having some more space internally to fit in a larger battery cell. The Galaxy S9 series comes with a new feature to measure blood pressure, the Galaxy Watch will also have this feature.
