Samsung trademarks a new name for smart speakers in the US and Europe. As per patent filing, the Samsung's smart speakers will be named as Magbee. Most of the details regarding the smart speakers are still in dark, however, one thing is confirmed it will be powered up by the Samsung's Bixby AI assistant. Also, the Samsung's owned Harman speaker will be involved in the development.

Recently Samsung patented a speaker with a dial. The company is also rumored to be working a connected home audio solution powered up by Magbee speaker. As far as an official announcement is a concern the Samsung's Magbee speakers are expected to go official at the IFA 2018 event. Samsung to announce Galaxy Note 9 at the Unpacked event on August 9th. Shouldn't be surprising to see that they will also involve the Bixby AI assistant too. After all, Sammy is trying to promote Bixby as well.
Whatever, Magbee looks promising, especially because it comes with the AI assistant like Bixby.
