As everyone awaits the launch of the upcoming Samsung flagship in the Note lineup, the Korean tech giant has revealed some of the insights about the SPen of the Galaxy Note 9 as it opens up the feature to the developers to build apps that support the new technology. The company shared in a set of prepared statements about how the upcoming SPen with Galaxy Note 9 would be more useful in real-world scenarios like using it as a remote control as it would work upon low power consumption Bluetooth technology. As per the rumors floating around regarding the upcoming flagship, it seems Galaxy Note 9 has a lot to offer compared to Galaxy Note 8.

76.4 x 161.9 x 8.8 mm

Considering the small size of the SPen, Samsung designed a dedicated circuit that was capable to deliver variable currents depending upon the purpose it was used for like while writing, charging or for remote control purposes. The customized solution was developed as opposed to the Super Capacitor which the company wouldn’t be able to fit into the small size of the SPen body.
All the developers that are interested to get the most out of the remote features of the upcoming SPen, they could utilize the SPen Remote SDK that they could download free of charge. Currently, it's not sure how well this new SDK would be taken by the developer’s community, considering how the earlier SPen still has limited apps available as oppose to the Bixby feature that developers embraced quite well relatively.
