Samsung Galaxy S10 might sport cutoff OLED display replacing notch-design

20 November 2018 0

Samsung smartphone displays are few of the best AMOLED panels out there in the market and this is what makes a strong point for Samsung. The upcoming Galaxy F (foldable smartphone) is also a product of Samsung’s expertise in the foldable smartphones lineup that is thought to revolutionize the smartphone industry in the upcoming years.

While Galaxy S10 launch is coming close, we’re seeing ever-increasing rumors and speculations. A recent one suggested that Galaxy S10 might sport a flat display panel along with 5.8-inch display while we might also expect a budget Galaxy S10 coming up with ‘lite’ linked to it. Now in the latest development, two reports talk about the new display technology that S10 might sport.

The M9 Display would sport Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) that would have laser-drilled holes for the front selfie camera and the infrared sensor. The Korean tech giant presented three new displays at the recently held developer conference with one being an Infinity-O display that would have cutouts (drilled using SFA, Phill Optics and Wonik IPS’ laser equipment) for the camera and sensors to replace the notch design.
