Samsung planning new mid-range Galaxy Tab A tablet for Q1 2019 | Report

Samsung is reportedly planning a new Galaxy A tablet which may launch during the MWC 2019 event in Barcelona. The report claims to have the information on the Galaxy Tab A and thus suggests some key details.

According to the site the Galaxy Tab A carries the model number SM-P205 and its base variant will come with 32GB native storage and it features firmware version P205DXUOARL4. The site puts no other details on the same. Since the tablet belongs to the Galaxy Tab A range, it is expected to be a mid-range model and not a flagship product.

The tablet could perhaps also launch at the rumored February 20th launch event where the company is said to launch the Galaxy S10 series. The company could also host a separate event in March where it will showcase the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 as well as the Galaxy Fold foldable phone.

The last device launched in this series came around four months ago. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 came with a 10.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,200x1920 pixels. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor and coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be expanded up to 400GB. It packs by 7,300mAH Li-Polymer battery and runs on Android v8.1 Oreo OS.
