Samsung C-Lab to showcase 8 innovative AI projects at CES 2019

Korean tech giant Samsung has previously announced various creative products under the hood of its renowned C-Lab (Creative Lab) like for kids and skin care products, VR projects and more in the previous years. Now the company is aiming to unveil AI (artificial intelligence) related projects that are basically work done by eight startups under C-Lab.


These projects that are ready for commercial usage include in-video virtual ad service named as ‘Tisplay’, another ASMR sound recording solution termed as ‘aiMo’ another video making service named as MEDEO, a custom service for making perfumes, an AI news analysis named as PRISMIT, an AI desk light named as ‘alight’, a very interesting hearing assistant named as ‘SnailSound’ and a ‘Girin Monitor Stand’.

These projects from the startups would help C-Lab to refine these projects for commercial purposes. The startups named MOPIC, LINKFLOW, WELT, lululab, Cooljamm company, BLUEFEEL, MONIT, and analog plus would showcase their projects at CES 2019. In case you’re wondering what C-Lab is, it’s basically Samsung’s in-house incubation center to promote innovative ideas from Samsung employees giving them creative corporate culture for their nurturing.

Inkuk Hahn who is the head and Vice President of Creativity and Innovation Center at Samsung shared in a statement,

We will present promising C-Lab projects leveraging AI technologies in the field of video content creation, perfume making and more. These are deeply related to our daily lives and we hope to catch the eyes of attendees.
