The South Korean giant Samsung is heavily rumored to be announcing the foldable smartphone at the next Unpacked event on February 20th. Even ahead of unveiling a new official promo video accidentally leaked online which reveals few use cases of the next-gen foldable phone. The latest teaser highlights the foldable phone usage but the device was packed in a protective case that's why its rear design remains a mystery.
As expected the teaser video was pulled from Youtube pretty soon but later the company posted the video with a blog post. The company mentions the teaser video highlights the company's "5G tech and foldable display tech that will be announced later this year". Today we have the renders of Galaxy Fold based on the teaser video shared by LetsGoDigital.
Back in November Samsung announced Infinity flex display screen at the SDC 2018 conference. At that time a prototype of Galaxy F was showcased with a thick case to ensure the identity doesn't leak away. At that time the company also promised the final product is way slimmer.
The renders showcase gorgeous design foldable phone with almost none bezels around the display. The front-facing side even lacks the cutout for the selfie camera. So we can expect the Galaxy fold will have cameras setup on the rear only and it will double as selfie snapper when folded.
The Galaxy S10 series will be the company's first flagship phones with camera-hole design and almost zero bezels around the display, so we can't expect almost similar design for the foldable phone. At the next unpacked event, Samsung is expected to announce Galaxy F foldable phone with a delayed release later this year. Feel free to share your thoughts regarding the new Galaxy f renders in the comments section below. Stay tuned.
