Xiaomi Black Shark 2 alleged hands-on image leaked online

01 March 2019 2

Last year was quite successful for Xiaomi's Black Shark Branding. The company launched two gaming phones under this branding and both the phones went successful due to top of the line hardware, innovative features, and stylish design. The first Black Shark phone was announced in April, later on, the company announced its iterative model Black Shark Helo in October 2018.

Now from the look of the things the company is getting ready for another gaming phone under Black Shark Branding. The original Black Shark successor is expected to be announced in early Q2. The device is rumored to have the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie straight out of the box.

It is still in the dark whether the successor will be announced as Black Shark 2 or not. The leaked image shows the upcoming phone design is pretty much in line with earlier Black Shark phones. The rear side has dual cameras aligned vertically on the top left corner. The top-sensor looks like an ultra-wide angle module. The dual sensors are accompanied with single LED flashlight.

With the latest flagship Mi 9, Xiaomi introduced the fastest 27W charging tech. We can expect the upcoming Black Shark phone will also have this feature. Recently a Black Shark phone bearing model number SKW-A0 appeared at 3C certification. The listing reveals the device has MDY-10-EH charger which is actually the 27W charger we have seen on the Mi 9.

We can expect more details regarding Mi 9 in the coming days. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
