Samsung to ship plastic screen-protector with Galaxy S10

01 March 2019 3

Samsung Galaxy S10 was one of the most anticipated flagships of this year and it has firmly stood up to the expectations and receiving amazing reviews from all around the tech industry. Another interesting information now comes for the potential Samsung Galaxy S10 buyers that the flagship would be shipped with screen-protector pre-installed on it to help keep the device’s beautiful display safe.

While there are a bunch of screen-protectors out there in the market developed by third-party manufacturers generally from China, they often not tend to be sized properly for the devices. This doesn’t keep the expensive AMOLED display safe and people often find the corners of the display getting cracked as a result of impacts.

Likewise, in the case of Samsung Galaxy S10’s ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, it's likely that many of third-party protectors won’t work so. Note that this default in-box protector isn’t the best of the protector you’ll find on the market, though it’s a good way, to begin with protecting your device unless you find something better, as this default one would be plastic.

In case, later you want to stick with Samsung’s plastic offering contrary to more durable tempered glass products in the market, you could replace them at a price point of $29.99 available on Samsung stores.
