Samsung+ becomes Samsung Members offering consistent experience

Samsung offered Samsung+ for its customers in the United States to offer customer support through live chat, tickets and personalized help. The help came preinstalled on Samsung smartphone sold in the United States, though interestingly, this wasn’t the case with international units. Samsung units in other parts of the world had a similar offering in the shape of Samsung members though this seems to be changing.

After the launch of Galaxy S10, Samsung has brought together both of these apps (come pre-installed based on the regions you’re in) and rebranded them into one Samsung Members app with all of the goodies, though it seems that app isn’t compatible to all Samsung devices as of yet.


Samsung+ would automatically be updated to Samsung Members for everyone in the U.S aiming to give access to support, diagnostics and community forums availability. Diagnostic features scan your device to look for any possible issues and optimize it for best battery and performance while also looks for issues in the hardware if any.

Both the apps offered the same features, though the design and name were different. Now that both the apps are practically one, it would help Samsung to focus on one offering to improve it further. Has your Samsung+ updated to Samsung Members yet? Let us know in the comment section below.
