Korean tech giant Samsung had an amazing marketing campaign in place for it’s latest flagship smartphone i.e. Galaxy S10 projecting every little feature amazingly. This not only made the smartphone as one of the most awaited phones this year and indeed the phone stood up to the expectations. Though one feature didn’t work as marketed by Samsung once the phone got out in the hands of the actual users. This was the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which Samsung shared would be much faster than the traditional optical fingerprint sensor.
Interestingly, the feature was more of a hit and miss situation and considering that Samsung has rolled out a new security update which seems to have considerably improved that. The patch is sized at 7MB though makes quite much of a difference in the performance of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The speed of unlocking the phone with simple tap has improved a lot and the same resonates with a lot of users as well.
The update version i.e. 188.8.131.52 is applicable to both the Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820 variants of the flagship smartphone. Have you tried out updating your Galaxy S10 to the latest version yet? Share your experience in the comment section below.
