From the look of the things, the South Korean giant Samsung is getting ready to announce another mid-range phone in China. Today Samsung SM-A3050 and SM-A3058 appears at the TENAA certification which spills the bean regarding the design and specs. Both the phones look like network model as both have similar design and hardware. Another important aspect is hardware specs and design of the aforementioned phone is quite similar like Galaxy M30. The source report tipster claims the SM-A3050/8 will debut as Galaxy A40s in China. So the chances are high the A40s will be rebranded model of M30.
As per the listing, the device is featuring a 6.4-inches Infinity-U AMOLED display with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. Under the hood, an Octa-core chipset is powering the phone with max clocking at 1.8Ghz. It could be the Exynos 7904 SoC.
The listing confirms the device will be available in three configurations with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM. In terms of native storage, you can opt for either a 64GB or 128GB model. As OS the device will be pre-installed with Android Pie with One UI skin over it. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side.
As far as the cameras setup is a concern. On the rear side, you will get triple cameras including 13MP+5MP+5MP. The front-facing selfie snapper is 16MP. A 4,900mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. In terms of color options, the alleged Galaxy A40s will be available in Gold, Black and Blue colors. Unfortunately it is still in the dark when the Galaxy A40s will go official in China, however, the TENAA listing is a clear indication the launch isn't far away. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
