Samsung rolling Android Pie update in India for Galaxy M10 and M20

29 May 2019 2

A piece of good news for the Galaxy M10 and M20 owners in India as the South Korean giant starts rolling the latest Android Pie update. The latest update brings the May security patch. The update changelog on both the devices is the same, the only addition for the M20 owners is the inclusion of Scene Optimizer for the camera. The latest update brings the One UI skin.

For the Galaxy M10, the update weighs 926MB whereas the M20 owners will have to download 1883MB update. Surprisingly the Android Pie update for the Galaxy M20 is more than double as opposed to M10. Considering the size of the update we will recommend to download it via a stable WIFI connection instead of mobile data.

If you don't receive the update notification in the next few days, you can checkout manually as well by going into Settings >> Software update >> Download manually. Last but not least also make sure your device is at least 50% charged before kicking off the update process. Do share your thoughts regarding the Galaxy M10 and M20 Android Pie roll out in the comments section below. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
