Samsung has launched two new laptops named Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force. Both of these are the latest addition to the Samsung Notebook 7 lineup which sees an annual refresh. These have been unveiled in 13-inch and 15-inch display size options with a design resembling Apple MacBook Pro.
Starting with the standard Notebook 7, there are a total of three models including one with 13-inch size and other two with 15-inch size. One of these two models come with internal graphics and another one features dedicated NVIDIA GPU. All the three variants offer a Full HD (1080p) display panel with 8th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and up to 512GB SSD storage. The two 15-inch models also have an expandable 1TB SSD slot.
The 15-inch model with dedicated graphics features NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU. All the three variants have a backlit keyboard, fingerprint authentication, Dolby Atmos powered stereo speakers, 720p HD webcam, dual array microphone, and a 55Wh battery. For connectivity, these have two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, and one microSD card slot along with usual WiFi and Bluetooth. These start at $999 with exact pricing depending on the model and configuration.
As for the Notebook 7 Force, it has been released in only one model with 15.6-inch Full HD (1080p) display panel. It is powered by 8th Gen Intel Core processors coupled with up to 24GB of DDR4 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. There is up to 512GB SSD storage option with two expandable slots (one for HDD and one for SSD).
It has 720p HD webcam, dual array microphone, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, fingerprint scanner, backlit keyboard, and a 43Wh battery. Its connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, and one microSD card slot. It starts at $1,499 which is for the base model and goes up depending on the configuration.
