The Korean tech giant Samsung aims to launch Galaxy A80 in the Indian market starting from 15th June while it has already been launched in the global market this month. Talking about the price when the Galaxy A80 launches in India, reports suggest the price point be $580 for the base model while the higher RAM variant would cost $650.
Interestingly, if this happens to be the price of the Galaxy A80 when it launches in the Indian market, it would face serious competition with OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro as these devices offer flagship grade specifications at a relatively lower price than the base model of Galaxy A80. Knowing how OnePlus is quite famous in India, there is no doubt that OnePlus would surely give Galaxy A80 a tough time.
What makes Galaxy A80 interesting is the sliding and rotating camera system along with the highly useful 25W fast charging though while comparing the specs with OnePlus, the former gets short in luring those who prefer high speced devices. Another set back that could effect Galaxy A80 is the absence of 3.5mm headphone jack and the lack of expandable storage via microSD card slot, which often helped Samsung phones to stand out of the competition, though not anymore.
