Samsung is one of the few Android OEMs that is still making tablets on a regular basis. It recently unveiled the mid-range Galaxy Tab A 10.1 and premium Galaxy Tab S5e. And now, it seems to be working on another mid-range tablet for the year which has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website.
The Geekbench listing shows that this upcoming tablet has model number Samsung SM-T545. The actual commercial name is unknown but it should be a part of the Galaxy Tab series. It is shown to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset which is used in mid-range devices.
The processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM which has started to become a mainstream option among modern tablets. It is listed to be running Android 9 Pie which is a good thing. Since it is from Samsung, it should be coated with the company's custom skin called One UI. As for scores, it achieved 929 and 4,450 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
If we talk about other reports, this particular tablet from Samsung is expected to offer 64GB storage space. The SM-T545 is expected to be an LTE model and a WiFi-only model is said to bear TM-540 model number. There are no words on the possible release date, pricing, and region availability yet.
