Since the beginning of the year, we have been hearing about Samsung Galaxy A90 leaks and rumors. There have been different speculations so far and most recently, it was claimed that the smartphone will actually be released under a new Galaxy R series. The same tipster @OnLeaks has now revealed that Galaxy A90 exists and the previous claim was a result of a confusion between commercial and codenames. He further shared some crucial details about this upcoming smartphone.
The tipster claims that the Samsung Galaxy A90 will have two models, one with 5G (SM-A908) and another with only 4G LTE (SM-A905). As per the information, both the models will be sharing the majority of the specifications and features except for a few differences. Interestingly, previous leaks reported it to be a mid-range phone but as per the latest leak, it appears to be a high-end phone with steep pricing.
The Galaxy A90 is said to sport a 6.7-inch display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor which means the 5G variant will also have the Snapdragon X50 5G modem. There will be "tilt OIS" which has not been explained but should be some new feature to help with using the smartphone camera to avoid blurriness.
Both models will have a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The Galaxy A90 5G model will have 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel second and third sensors. As for the 4G model, you will get 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. This is the only major difference between that has been reported for now.
The release date or timeline for the Galaxy A90 is currently unknown but whenever that happens, it could be a good option for those who might be looking for a Samsung 5G phone on a cheaper budget. This is because the currently available Galaxy S10 5G is quite expensive and the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 5G will be no different.
