Samsung released the Galaxy Watch Active at the start of the year but it has already been rumored of working on a successor. There have been various reports talking about the existence of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and now, Android Headlines has shared a render offering a good look at the smartwatch.
The render shows that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 has a design same as the original Galaxy Watch Active. This is likely to be due to such a short span of time between the two wearables' release. One can see the circular dial with possibly no rotating bezel which we have seen in previous Samsung smartwatches. The button on the bottom has a Red accent which could be one of the different color variants.
The smartwatch is shown with a leather band which makes it look like a conventional watch. It is worth noting that with the Galaxy Watch Active, Samsung offered leather bands separately for an additional cost. We are expecting the situation to remain the same for the second-generation product as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is expected to arrive in two models including the LTE variant. It is reported to offer a 237mAh battery on WiFi only model and a 340mAh battery on the LTE model. There are no words on the release date but we would not be surprised if it is announced or at least showcased at the Galaxy Note 10 launch event on August 7th.
