Samsung appears to have the successor to its last year’s always-connected convertible PC in the works. And, going by some early leaks, the name of the device in question is Samsung Galaxy Book S. Evan Blass, one of the top tipsters has also added weight to the name of the device by revealing it on his Twitter account.
Furthermore, the spotted Geekbench listing reveals what the 'S' stands for in the name. As spotted, this is going to be the Galaxy Book Space which has gotten some interesting specifications. Going by the listing, the device runs Windows 10 and has an 8GB RAM and it’s powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz.
The Bluetooth SIG website brings more to the table about the new convertible from the Galaxy Book range. It has Bluetooth 5.0 which means the device will be able to catch better range without going hard on power consumption.
It isn’t known how the device looks like but you can assume it to be similar to the Galaxy Book 2 with 2-in-1 design and aesthetics. Expect to see a touch display (Super AMOLED), a detachable keyboard, and also an S Pen. It should also include LTE modem for connectivity.
This is just the start of the leaks on the Galaxy Book Space and you should expect to know more about it in the coming days.
